Aaron James Keller, 35, met his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 23, 2025.
Aaron James Keller was born February 7, 1990 in Fargo, ND, the son of James and Janis (Christenson) Keller. He was raised in Fargo and graduated from Fargo South High School in 2009. Aaron continued his education at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Moorhead, MN, graduating in 2012 with a degree in Liberal Arts and in 2014 with a degree in Construction Management. Aaron worked in Harvey, ND before moving to Grand Forks. For the past eight years, he was employed as a Foreman with Community Contractors in Grand Forks, which he loved.
Aaron met the love of his life, Jalissa Spanier, in February 2011. They later married on October 17, 2015 in Langdon, ND. They added their only child, Macklin Lu James Keller, to the family on April 4, 2019. Aaron was a devoted father and husband.
Aaron enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandpas, dad, brother, sister, and various other family and friends. He enjoyed attending concerts and sporting events. Aaron traveled yearly to Arizona to visit his father-in-law and enjoyed his time there swimming in the pool and off-roading in the mountains. In his younger years, he played on various softball teams. He shared his love of sports with Macklin, and they spent countless hours playing hockey, ice skating, soccer, kick ball, basketball, and many other activities.
Aaron was preceded in death by his father-in-law, James Spanier; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Marvel Christenson; and his uncle, Robert Huus.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Jalissa Keller; their son, Macklin Keller; both parents, James and Janis Keller; mother-in-law, Annette; brother, Timothy Keller; sister, Valerie (Michael) Tweiten; paternal grandparents, Leo and Beverly Keller; brother-in-law, Jared Spanier; brother-in-law, Jason (Cassie) Spanier; sister-in-law, Jericka (Ryan) Congdon; sister-in-law, Carrie (Ryan) Layton; close friends: Jessica and Wyatt Nyberg, Emily and Michael Roue; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family.
Visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service at Amundson Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Grand Forks.
Memorial services will be Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Living Word Family Church of Grand Forks.
