Adrian J Moritz Jr. 86 of East Grand Forks MN passed away peacefully on Monday October 6th 2025 in Valley Senior Living on Columbia in Grand Forks ND

Adrian Joseph Moritz Jr. was born January 2nd 1939 in Arvilla ND the son of Adrian Sr. and Venona (McRoberts) Moritz. He was raised and educated in Emerado ND. During this time he belonged to the Emerado 4H clubs and worked on his Aunt's turkey farm. Adrian graduated from the ND State School of Science in Wahpeton ND with a degree in Automotive Technology, where he learned his life long skill as an Auto Mechanic.

Adrian married the love of his life, Ellen Jorde on June 2nd 1961. They moved to EGF MN where they started a family. Adrian began his career in 1965 as a Auto Mechanic with the only job he ever had, working for Hansen Ford retiring in 2000.

Adrian enjoyed vacationing with his family every summer which took them to most of the continental United States. He also enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and craft shows that they traveled around to.

Adrian was an exceptional Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Brother and Brother in Law to all that loved him.

Survivors include his Daughters, Jolene (Mark) Larson and Jacinda (Andre) Fortune; Granddaughter, Sara (Dan) Pantalion; Grandsons, Evan (Haley) Larson and Dredon Fortune; a Great Grandson, Levi Pantalion; Siblings, Darlene Sand, Dwayne Moritz and Marlon Moritz.

Adrian is preceded in death by his wife Ellen, son Adrian Jarrod Moritz, brother in law Marvin Sand and his parents, Adrian Sr. and Venona Moritz.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday, October 10, 2025 at Amundson Funeral and Cremation Service. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks.
