Allan “Big Al” Slominski

In loving memory of Allan Francis Slominski, we are saddened to announce his passing on May 1, 2024, in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Allan was born October 5, 1945, to Walter and Delores Slominski.

Allan enjoyed watching racing, hunting, fishing, and spending time on the family farm and lake place. He especially loved talking about his extensive gun collection and fishing gear.

Allan and his wife Nancy just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 22, 2024.

He leaves to mourn in his passing his wife Nancy; his children: Mike (Mona Rae) Slominski, Pam (Doug) Pede, Gloria Slominski, and Lisa Windjue; his seven grandchildren: Ashlynn, Jaden (Tomi), Gage (Courtney), Josh (Allison), Justin (Kimberly), Matthew (Bobbi Jo), and Emily (Caleb); his six great grandchildren: Adaline, Amelia, Barrett, Holland, Ashton, and Jude.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a private celebration of life planned to be held on the family farm.
