Annabelle Kelly

Annabelle Kelly, 101, Grand Forks, North Dakota, died Sunday, August 14, 2022 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks.

Annabelle, the daughter of Charles and Luella (Shilt) Mullan was born in Grand Forks on May 6, 1921.  She attended and graduated from school in Emerado, North Dakota.  She attended beauty school in Grand Forks.  Annabelle married Leonard Kelly on January 6, 1942 in Grand Forks.  Before marriage she had a beauty shop in Thompson, North Dakota with her father in his barber shop.  She worked at United Hospital for many years as a switchboard operator and helped Leonard farm.  After retiring they spent many winters in Tucson, Arizona.

Annabelle is survived by a daughter, Patricia Sivertson, Grand Forks;  7 grandchildren, Tim Sivertson (Christine), Tina Thompson (Dave Haydon), Jackie Rodriguez (Joey), Stuart Kelly, Nicole Miller, Cody Kelly, Salena Holland (Colby);  10 great-grandchildren;  one great great grandson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sons, Duane Kelly and Charles Kelly, two brothers and 4 sisters. 

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022 in University Lutheran Church, Grand Forks.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church.  Interment will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks.  The funeral will be available via livestream on University Lutheran Church Facebook page.
