Arthur "Arty" Mashburn, 52 of Grand Forks, North Dakota died Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Arty was born on June 22, 1972, the son of Jim and Susan (Schabacker) Mashburn in Rochelle, Illinois. They moved to Winger, Minnesota in 1978. Arty graduated from Win-E-Mac in 1991 and completed the auto body Tech program in Thief River Falls in 1993.

Arty was united in marriage to Mollie Duckworth on December 31, 2004, at Bethel Assembly Church in Fosston, Minnesota. He worked at Luckens, New Flyer, Interstate Power Systems and Kidwell Signature Cleaning over the years. Arty also owned and operated Arty’s Auto in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.

Arty enjoyed riding four-wheeler, snowmobiling and restoring classic vehicles to their original condition. His greatest joy was camping and fishing with his family. Arty’s generosity and sense of humor was felt by everyone who knew him.

Arty is survived by his wife, Mollie Mashburn, children, Ethan, Noah and Lila; mother, Susan Mashburn; brother, Kevin Mashburn; sister, Amber Mashburn; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arty was preceded in death by his father, Jim Mashburn and infant son, Max Mashburn.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at Amundson Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Amundson Funeral Home.
