Bailey (Devin) Turner

August 9, 1997 — March 5, 2026

Bailey (Devin) Turner, age 28, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Bailey Turner was born on August 9, 1997, in O’ahu, Hawaii, to Jonathan Turner and Michelle Quinn. She was raised in Murietta, California, and graduated high school from Vista Murrieta High School with the class of 2016. Throughout her childhood, she had a passion for creativity, often building homemade rockets alongside her siblings and engaging in design projects that sparked her imagination. Her intelligence led her to pursue her bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and to continue her education at the University of North Dakota, where she was enrolled in an accelerated master’s program for electrical engineering. Bailey served in the United States Army and was a proud advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, serving as the president of the oSTEM organization (Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), a student-led group focused on promoting inclusivity in STEM fields. Her advocacy reflected her passion for social justice, as she tirelessly sought to raise awareness and foster a supportive environment for those around her. Her dedication and impact will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Bailey is survived by her mother, Michelle Quinn (step-father, Douglas Ayers) of Murrieta, CA; father, Jonathan (Amy) Turner of Milton, FL; siblings, Jacob Riley, Michael, Connor, Christopher, Hannah, and Sarah; grandparents, Robert and Karen Turner, Duane and Anne Quinn, Kathi and Cliff Zucker.

Bailey was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sharon Clark and Lee Wilson.
