Carol Ann Haugland

Carol A. Haugland, 76 of East Grand Forks, Minnesota died Friday, October 20, 2023, at Valley Senior Living, Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Carol was born on December 17, 1946, the daughter of Alvin and Mildred (Markusen) Haugland in Grafton, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Hoople, North Dakota. Carol graduated from Hoople High School in 1964. She then attended Aakers Business College and started her career with North Dakota Cement working in the office. Over the years the name of the company has changed, but she retired as an office manager after 49 years with the company now call Lafarge Inc.

Carol enjoyed baking, road trips with Jan and occasional trips to the casino.

Carol is survived by her sister, Shirley Laske of West Fargo, ND; nephew, Brian Perreault of South St. Paul, MN; friend, Jan Swanson of East Grand Forks, MN; numerous cousins.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ronald, brother-in-law, Ronald Laske and nephew, Christopher Perreault.

Visitation will be held from Noon – 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Amundson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Amundson Funeral Home.
