Charles C. Mollock, 80 of Grand Forks, North Dakota died Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Charles was born on December 25, 1943, the son of Charlie and Minerva (Greene) Mollock in Preston, Maryland. He graduated from Lockerman High School in Denton, Maryland in 1961. Charles enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1961 and married Ruth Tilghman on July 29, 1967. His career in the Air Force took Charles and his family to various places throughout the United States until his retirement as a Master Sargent in 1987 after 26 years of service. Charles and Ruth remained in Grand Forks, and he worked at Simplot for twenty more years, retiring in 2007.
Charles enjoyed reading, listening to jazz music, painting, fishing and hunting. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren. Charles loved to give his family and friends a hard time, which would often bring a smile to the one dishing it out and the one receiving it.
Charles will be remembered by his loving wife, Ruth Mollock; daughters, Tanya (Brent) Tuttles, Yvonne Mollock and Kimberly (Ken) Brown; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Samuel (Debbie) Mollock, Clarence Mollock and Andre’ Mollock; sisters, Sandra Scott, Pam Mollock and Darlene Mollock; numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carolyn Mollock.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
