Clark Wyn Crockett

May 11, 1959 — November 29, 2025

Clark W. Crockett, 66 of Emerado, North Dakota died Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Clark was born on May 11, 1959, the son of Kaye and Joan (Van Putten) Crockett in Hamilton, Bermuda. The Crockett family moved to the United States in 1966 and due to his father’s service in the United States Air Force, the family lived in a number of states. Clark graduated from Maconaquah High School, Peru, Indiana.

The Crockett’s moved to the Grand Forks Air Force Base in 1976. Shortly after that he began his career as a cook at the Air Force Base and continued to work there until his passing. Clark will surely miss the children he helped to feed.

Clark had a love of music and enjoyed burning CDs with his favorite songs. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, animals (which included many pets throughout his life) and a good glass of sweet tea.

Clark will be remembered as someone that could be very private but also had a happy and loving personality with a stubborn side also.

Our appreciation to staff members and coworkers who looked out for Clark. Special thanks to Krystle Lewis, Audrey Peterson and Coach who gracefully assisted Clark in his hour of need.

Clark is survived by his sisters, Leslie (Billy) Robinson, Stacey Crockett and Sandra Crockett; niece, Sarah Crockett; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Clark was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would also like to express their appreciation for the care Clark received from all the staff at Altru Hospital, with a special thank you to Haley.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the donor’s choice in memorial of Clark.

A family directed Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the NCO Club (Warrior Lounge) Grand Forks Air Force Base.
