Colleen (Plantiko) Hayes, 77, of Grand Forks, ND, died on January 6, 2023 at Valley Senior Living on Columbia Rd. in Grand Forks.

Colleen was born December 19, 1945, the daughter of Carl & Dorothy Plantiko. She grew up in Grand Forks and graduated from Central High School.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grand Forks.

Following her marriage to Mike Hayes, the couple moved to California and they raised three children; Darrin, Kim and Shana.

Colleen also lived in Puyallup, WA before moving back to Grand Forks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Darrin and daughter, Shana.

Colleen is survived by a daughter, Kim; brother, Don and sister, Myrna Drees.

Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, with visitation from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
