Daniel Homme

Daniel Homme, 96, Grand Forks, ND, died Friday, June 9, 2023 in Valley Senior Living on 42nd in Grand Forks.  

Daniel Simon Homme, the son of Tellef and Gertie (Myrum) Homme, was born on January 21, 1927 in Grand Forks County, attending school in Walle Township.    Daniel was a veteran of the US Army and was stationed in Germany for a time. 

He was a lifelong farmer in Walle Township, taking over the farm with his brother at a very young age upon the death of his father. 

Daniel enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.  He was always willing to help a neighbor, and his life was the community. 

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Andrew Homme, and a sister, Margaret Homme. 

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2023 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks, with visitation one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Walle Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Thompson, ND.
