Darcy Ruth Cajune

Darcy Ruth Cajune of Grand Forks, North Dakota, formerly of Emerado, North Dakota, died Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Darcy was born the daughter of Francis and LuVerne (Tessin) Cajune in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was raised and educated in Minneapolis. Darcy worked at Avis/Budget Car Rental at the Minneapolis Airport and Universal Auto Body Shop in Minneapolis. Darcy eventually moved to Emerado, North Dakota and worked at Cenex in Grand Forks.

Darcy enjoyed fishing, puzzles and Bingo. She had a love for birds and for cats. Darcy had a outgoing personality and enjoyed listening to music and watching horror movies.

Darcy is survived by her daughters, Cassandra Cajune and Melissa Cajune; granddaughters, Raeann Cajune and Lilith Acunia; siblings, Joyce Baker, Lois Barton and Steve Cajune; numerous nieces and nephews.

Darcy was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Duane Cajune.

A private family service will be held.
