Dennis Odden, 77, Grand Forks, N.D., died Wednesday, Sept. 15, in Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Dennis was born April 15, 1944, in Park River, ND, the son of Palmer & Margaret (Levin) Odden. He grew up in Park River and graduated from Park River High School.

He worked for the ND Highway Dept for 37 years, retiring in 1996. He made his home in Grand Forks.

Dennis enjoyed watching TV, listening to music, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his sister, Pauline (Allen) Machovsky; niece, Toni Lafrenz; nephew, Dean Hryzan; great-niece, Claire and aunts, Donna Nissen & Carole Levin.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katherine Phillipe; brothers-in-law, Edwin Lafrenz & Robert Phillipe and a niece, Cindy Hryzan.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 20, at Amundson Funeral Home with visitation from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service.

Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Park River, ND.
