Donn Robert Larson

Donn R. Larson, 83 of Grand Forks, North Dakota died Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Aneta Parkview Health Center, Aneta, North Dakota. 

Donn was born on October 23, 1941, the son of Lawrence and Corinne (Turner) Larson in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He was raised and educated in Grand Forks, graduating from Grand Forks Central in 1959. Donn enlisted in the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge in 1962. Upon his return to Grand Forks, he became an electrician and was part of the IBEW Union. He worked in the upper Midwest for his entire career, retiring in the early 2000s. 

Donn enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and playing bingo. During his retirement years he enjoyed walking, and most days walked five or more miles a day. 

Donn is survived by his son, Glenn Larson; sisters, Janet Foley and Kathy Larson; four nephews and a niece. 

Donn was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Cheryl Tweedell and brother, Bruce Larson. 

A private burial will take place.
