Donna Hallick, 88, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at her home in Moorhead, MN with her family by her side.

 Donna Mae Beverly Nelson was born June 17, 1934 in Hatton, ND to Hartvig and Amelia (Syverson) Nelson. She grew up and attended school in Hatton, graduating in 1952 from Hatton High School. 

 Donna married LeVonne Vigen on June 14, 1953 at St John Lutheran Church in Hatton where she had also been confirmed. They would become parents to five children: Debbie, Randy, Mark, Hartvig and Tamie. They resided in Thompson, ND until 1961 when they moved their family to Grand Forks, ND where LeVonne worked for the ND State Mill and Elevator. He passed away in 1969. 

 Donna would later marry Harold Hallick. He passed away in 1986. Donna would spend her remaining years with Jerome (Jerry) Bliven who she lovingly referred to as her "significant other." They resided in East Grand Forks, MN and Grand Forks before moving to Moorhead in 2020.

 Throughout the years, in addition to being a full time wife and mother, Donna worked at various businesses in Grand Forks including the Diamond Lounge and Long Haul Saloon. Although she had officially "retired" she continued to work in the gaming area at both the VFW and American Legion in East Grand Forks. Before health issues prevented them from doing so, Donna and Jerry wintered in AZ for a few years. They also loved to travel, whether flying or driving their motorhome across the country visiting family and friends or going to various casinos which they enjoyed.

 Donna is survived by her children: Deb Storbakken (Lee Farmer), Moorhead, Mark (Ann), Grand Forks, Hartvig (Shannon Schroeder), West Fargo and Tamie Sandvig, Fargo, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren (with 2 more arriving in late 2022) and 5 great-great grandchildren, her sister in law Betty Nelson of Niles, MI and nieces and nephews from both the Nelson and Vigen families.

 Donna is also survived by Jerry's family: children Bonnie Jaehning (Robert Welcher), Gerald (Lori), William (Carol), Michael (Debra), Mark (Marita), Steven (Barbara) and Maureen, 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Donna is preceded in death by: her paternal and maternal grandparents, her parents Hartvig and Amelia, husbands LeVonne and Harold, son Randy, grandson Chad Storbakken, brother Wayne and her companion of thirty five years Jerome (Jerry) Bliven, who passed away May 26, 2022.

 Donna's family would like to thank the staff at River Pointe of Moorhead and a very special thank you to Hospice of the Red River Valley for the kind, loving, excellent care she received in her final days. God Bless You All.
