Elian Martinez (Polito)(magyver) was born February 18th, 2000, in McAllen Medical Center in McAllen Texas. Elian passed away on June 14th, 2025, 5 miles south of Pembina North Dakota. A beloved son, brother, and friend passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a passion for all things fast and mechanical. From a young age, he was always hands on meticulously cleaning his bicycle, later upgrading to ATVs and UTVs, and throwing himself into the thrill of racing tournaments. His enthusiasm led him to compete in racing tournaments, where his drive and determination shined. Elian was just as passionate about the outdoors as he was about engines. He cherished time spent hunting with his friends, hitting the golf course, and competing in golf tournaments. He also enjoyed snowmobiling with his best friends out West. He enjoyed farming as well. No matter the activity, he approached life with dedication and joy.
Elian found his true calling working with his semi-truck, which he kept in pristine condition both inside and out. Whether he was making sure it ran smoothly or polishing every detail, he took great pride in his work and craftsmanship. His dedication and work ethic were unmatched, and he was known as someone who gave his all in everything he did.
More than his talents, Elian will be remembered for his bright smile, kind heart, and the way he made everyone feel like family. He had a special bond with his mom, dad, and sister, and shared a deep connection with Marley, the family’s beloved pet. Family was at the center of Elian’s world, and he carried that love in everything he did. Elian was the kind of person others naturally gravitated toward joyful, generous, and always willing to lend a hand or share a laugh.
He leaves behind a community of loved ones who will forever cherish the memories and the light he brought into their lives. Though his time here was far too short, Elian’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Elian is survived by his Father Emiliano Martinez, Mother Carmina Martinez, Sister Elaine Martínez, Grandfather Aristeo Escamilla, and beloved furry sister Marley.
He is preceded in death by family members Father’s side: Polo & Dominga Martinez and Cousin Leroy Martinez. Mother’s side, Juanita Escamilla.
