What is something that is free & priceless?
You can lose it, cannot touch it, own, return, or get back?
Answer: Time… (author unknown)
We lost our time on earth with a beautiful, sweet soul our mom, Elizabeth “Liz” Chesley, on Nov 6, 2025. She is now in heaven, no longer suffering from COPD. Liz was married to Tom for 53 years(widowed 6). They had 3 children together.
She was a woman of faith, truly the fruit of the Spirit(Galatians 5:22-23). She spent most of her years working hard to take care of others without thinking of herself. She worked at Hugo’s bakery for 39 years. She was selfless, a woman of few words but pushed on like no other. We will never forget her blessings, advice nor her superstitions. She prayed & loved hard. Her kids & grandchildren we a huge part of her life.
She spent her latter years in an Edgewood community that she found great joy in. She made many friends that touched her heart. They stayed up late playing cards, puzzles, had many parties & potlucks, it was clear she loved it.
She is survived by her children: Tom (Wendy) & Christi (Richard); mother, Sarah; grandchildren: Tommy, Cassie, Emily, Abe, Hannah; great grandchildren: Urijah, Colson, Leo, Stella, Delilah, Tripp; sisters: Michelle (Ron), Lisa (Bobby), Sharon (Gary), Linda (Tom), Margret, Vicki (Robert).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; daughter, Kimberly; father, Bob; brother, Robert and grandmother: Anna.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
We would like to say a special thank you to Hospice-Hearts in Action.
