Evelyn A. Boushee, 89, Larimore, ND and formerly of Grand Forks, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, in Altru Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Evelyn Ardell Sivertson was born April 11, 1936, in Fargo, ND, the daughter of Alfred and Violet (Smith) Sivertson. She was raised and educated in Fargo, Emerado, and Grand Forks, graduating from Grand Forks Central High School in 1954.

Evelyn married Keith Boushee in November of 1955 in Grand Forks. They moved to Emerado where she worked in food service at Club Emerado, The Family Inn, The Greasy Spoon, the Grand Forks Airport, and then the University of North Dakota until the time of her retirement.

As a younger woman, Evelyn enjoyed bowling and playing softball. She also enjoyed baking, playing cards, Bunko, attending UND hockey games, and Twins games at Target Field. Evelyn loved attending activities of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Brian Boushee, Grand Forks, Carol Nesdahl, Larimore, ND, Cathy (Ron) Nesdahl, Larimore, ND, and Cindy (Gerald) Pariseau, Grand Forks; grandchildren, Stacey (Chad) Gratton, Candy (Chuck) Porter, Kaylee (Carter) Cusack, Joshua (Marla) Nesdahl, J. J. (Coleen) Nesdahl, Shannon (Josh) Gubrud, and Stephanie (Ethan) Haag; great grandchildren, Courtney, Austin, Rylee, Taylor, Brycen, Blake, Tucker, Hayden, Shaylee, Kendra, Levi, and Avery; Evelyn’s brother, Gary (Joni) Sivertson, Grand Forks; and sisters-in-law, Pat Sivertson and Deb Sivertson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her brothers, Glenn and Mark; and by a son-in-law, Bert Nesdahl

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Amundson Funeral and Cremation Service, Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Prairie Cemetery, Emerado, ND.
