Evonne A. Rouse, 81 of Grand Forks, North Dakota, died Sunday, January 25, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family under the care of HIA Hospice.
Evonne was born on January 16, 1945, the daughter of Clarence and Ann (Hoffman) Dick in Devils Lake, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Munich, North Dakota. For a few months she lived in Omaha, Nebraska where she attended school and worked various jobs until returning to Munich and graduating from Munich High School.
Evonne was united in marriage to Harris Rouse on October 18, 1963, at Salem Mennonite Church, Munich, North Dakota. They raised their family on the farm in rural Munich until moving to Grand Forks in 1986. She worked at the Munich Bowling Alley and First National Bank in Grand Forks.
Evonne enjoyed watching TV and reading. She cherished time with her family, especially with her granddaughter and her two great grandsons. Before health issues, Evonne traveled with her husband to various places which included Florida, Hawaii and Branson MO.
Evonne is survived by her husband, Harris Rouse of Grand Forks, ND; daughter, Lori (Dennis) Laturnus of Grand Forks, ND; son, Troy Rouse of Grand Forks, ND; granddaughter, Amanda (Tyler) Grohs of Grand Forks, ND; great grandsons, Jaxson & Easton; twin sister, Elaine Rupp of Grand Forks, ND; brother, Steve (Barb) Dick of West Fargo, ND; numerous nieces and nephews.
Evonne was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Bruce Rupp.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2026, at Amundson Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
