Gary Wayne Troitte

Gary W. Troitte, 73, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Sanford Hospital on Broadway in Fargo, ND.

Gary was born August 12, 1948 in Reynolds, ND, the son of Hilman & Marie (Hanson) Troitte.  He attended school in Reynolds before working full time on the family farm.

He spent 37 years working as a certified welder for American Crystal Sugar until retirement in 2011.

Gary married Jacqueline Jacobson February 15, 1988 in Hillsboro, ND.  Together they made their home in Reynolds on the family farm.

He enjoyed the outdoors very much.  Hunting, fishing were a few of his hobbies and spent many weekends selling his crafts at the Grand Forks Farmers Market. Spending time with family came above all else.  He was also a Life member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Jacqueline; son, Chad (Miriam) Troitte of Fargo, ND; daughter, Tammy (Michael) Burger of East Grand Forks, MN; brother, Dale Troitte of Reynolds, ND; grandchildren, Haley, Grant and Anna, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26 at Amundson Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Amundsons. 

Interment: Stjordalen Cemetery, Reynolds, ND.
