Gerald L. Mutcher

Gerald L. Mutcher, 74, died on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Valley Senior Living on Columbia in Grand Forks. Gerald was born on June 19, 1948 in Langdon, North Dakota to Rudolph and Bertha (Anderson) Mutcher. On February 16, 1972, Gerald married Vicky Eley in Grand Forks, where they made their home. Gerald worked as a mechanic and foreman for Nodak Cab until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, going to the racetrack and spending time with his family. Gerald is survived by his wife, Vicky; daughter, MariDee (Scott) Judd; sisters, Linda Becker, Gayle (Victor) Scaggs; brothers, Larry Mutcher, Bob (Theresa) Mutcher, Ralph (Marie) Mutscher, Donny Mutscher, and Billy Mutcher; sister-in-law, Diane Mutcher; 3 grandchildren, Brittany, Courtney and Thomas Judd; a great-granddaughter, Savannah; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Ronald and Merle Mutcher; a sister Shirley Sawatzky; mother-in-law, Ethel Lindblad; father-in-law, Wilfred Eley; brother-in-law, Wayne Becker; sister-in-law, Darcy Mutscher; and a nephew, Chad Mutscher. A celebration of life will be held at at later date.
