VISITATION: Friday, June 3 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks.

MEMORIAL MASS: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Forks, with visitation from 10-11:00 a.m. at the church.

INURNMENT: Calvary South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.

Jane Ardell (Bahr) Comeau, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Grand Forks, on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, with her family by her side.

Jane was born April 11, 1938 in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of Edwin & Violet (Allen) Bahr. She graduated from Fargo Central High School and studied Theology at St. Thomas and studied Psychology at UND.

She married Leon J. Comeau November 25, 1961. Together they made their home in Grand Forks raising 4 children.

Jane enjoyed gardening, home design, reading, painting, and watching British comedies. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Forks and was involved with RCIA and We Care Committee through the church and was a volunteer at the hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Leon; children, Veronique (Tony) Colletti, Lisa Comeau, Paul (Sharon) Comeau and Elizabeth (Davin Cermak) Comeau; grandchildren, Jacob Comeau, Gretchen (Thomas Howard) Alspaugh, Daniel Comeau, Lucas Comeau, Jamie Comeau, Courtney (Jon) Sand, Dominick Comeau (Jane's godson), Madison Comeau, Brianna Cermak,  James Cermak, Clarissa Colletti & Virginia Colletti; great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Gabriel & Theodore; goddaughter, Delrae (Mark) Pope; sisters, Janet Taylor, Kathryn Durr; and several nieces and nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Rodney and Arlys.
