Jane "Janie" Ann Alderson

Jane Alderson, 73, of Grand Forks, North Dakota, passed away peacefully on October 13th, 2025. Born on October 28, 1951 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, she was the daughter of Dr. Thomas F. and Bernice Alderson.

Jane was a loving mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to raising her two sons and was known for her kindness, devotion to the church and love of animals. After graduating from Grand Forks Central High School, she moved to the Twin Cities, Minnesota, where she lived for the rest of her life. She worked as a Dental Hygienist and later as Medical Coding Specialist, and retired in 2018. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, caring for her dog and cats, and watching her sons play hockey.

Jane is survived by her sons James Domenick Gambucci 45 (Jeanne) and Anthony Thomas Gambucci 44 (Liz Gitler); her sister Nancy Hoppel (Joe) and brother Robert Alderson (Peggy); and her grandchildren, James Dylan (JD), Coco and Serena Gambucci. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Thomas E. Alderson.
