Jason Dean Arndt

April 11, 1970 — October 26, 2021

Jason D. Arndt, 51, of Manvel, ND passed away suddenly at his home on October 26,2021, after fighting a long battle with diabetes. This loss was completely unexpected, and left family and friends shocked and deeply saddened. He will be truly missed in so many ways. Jason was born to Raymond and Avis (Moran) Arndt in Grand Forks, ND. He attended the Grand Forks Public Schools from elementary through high school. Shortly after graduating high school, he moved to South Dakota and worked on a ranch, where he discovered his love for horses and the cowboy life. After a few years and the onset of diabetes, Jason moved back to Grand Forks and has been in North Dakota ever since. Jason was a loving brother, uncle and friend. He was passionate about woodworking, metal detecting, playing guitar, helping others, being in the country, teaching country dancing and hanging out with family. He also loved creating original wood pieces and giving to people. He embraced all that life had to offer, until complications from his diabetes began taking over his body. Jason had a gift of making everyone feel like family. He loved playing jokes on people and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He always tried to make it a point to check in on people. Jason can best be described as kind, loving, caring, warm, awesome, and fun. But really, he will be missed more than words can say. Jason is survived by his brothers, Steve, (Roberta) and Michael; sisters, Vickie and Patty, (Bob); nephews, Eric, Curt and Nick; nieces, Nellie and Amanda; great-nephews and great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Avis Arndt. Jason will be cremated and laid to rest. The family will have a private celebration of Jason's life at a later date. Jason, you have been set free, are now at peace and in no more pain. You can walk, run and ride the horses in Heaven. You ran the race set out before you. You fought hard, finished well and you will be deeply missed. You are now resting in the arms of our loving Father....
