Joseph was born on November 19, 1967 to Raymond and Katherine (Korczak) Korynta in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He was baptized at St. John The Baptist Church in Ardoch. Joseph received his education at Midway School in Inkster, where he graduated from High School in 1986. Following high school, he attended Tech school in at Thief River Technical School from 1986 to 1988 where he studied electronics, followed by Moorhead Technical School from 1994 to 1996 where he received computer operations training. After his schooling, Joseph worked for Clarica, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and most recently, Fargo Assembly where he was a quality control technician. Joseph was a computer whiz. He enjoyed spending time with his parents where he also helped out on the farm. He enjoyed attending Valley Con and Comic Con. and making computer generated animation and decals for 1/64th scale models. Joseph is survived by his parents, Raymond and Kathy; brothers, Randy (friend Doris), Mitchell (Tammie), Philip (Sue) and Greg Korynta; 11 nieces and nephews; 1 great-niece; 4 great-nephews; and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He was preceded in death by both sets of Grandparents, Dick and Mae Korynta and John and Leona Korczak. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Minto, North Dakota. A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. An inurnment will be held in the spring at St. John The Baptist Cemetery in Ardoch.
