Judith "Judy" Ann Bradshaw

Judith (Judy) Ann Bradshaw, 87, of Grand Forks, ND, went home to heaven to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 15, 2026. She left her earthly home with family and nurse Angie by her bedside.

Judith was born on July 22, 1939, in Moore Township near Enderlin, ND to Vernon L. and Genevieve Eberly. Her father was a gifted schoolteacher and administrator and her mother a faithful homemaker. Judy attended grade school in Lisbon, ND and Wyndmere, ND and high school in Lairmore, ND, where she met her future husband to be, James (Jim) R. Bradshaw. Following high school graduation in May 1957, Judy and Jim married on August 24, 1958, and just celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.

Judy earned her bachelor’s degree in education at the University of North Dakota. Judy loved to learn and research. Her inquiries led her to study the Bible, which convinced her it was the true Word of God. She placed her faith and hope in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, thus being born again on May 5, 1965. Judy taught many women’s Bible studies in the Grand Forks area. Her favorite ones to teach were Bible Prophecy classes. Judy developed a passion for Christian education and served on the board of Shema Christian School, now Riverside Christian School. She also served on the board of Stonecroft Christian women’s clubs in the area in the 80’s. Judy was gifted in sewing, oil painting, bowling, tennis, decorating, and faithful to tend to her home and family. She enjoyed driving in the car with Jim to visit their childhood neighborhoods as well as attending UND basketball games with their friends. She loved to watch her daughter Beth ride and show her Morgan horses, to have her grandsons Adam and Max visit, and to watch old musicals with her daughter Brenda and granddaughter Micah.

Judy is survived by her husband, Jim of Grand Forks; brother Paul (Connie) Eberly, Racine, WI; sister- in law, Barb Eberly, Glendale, AZ; daughter Beth Bradshaw-Steffes, Phoenix, AZ; daughter Brenda Bradshaw Fargo, ND; granddaughter Micah Lynn (Jesse) Klein, Mexico City/SD; grandson Max (Ellie) Steffes, Fargo, ND, grandson Adam (Tia)Steffes, Omaha, NE and 6 great grandchildren: Felix, Eve, Calvin, Russell, Quinn and Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Gen; her sister Mary-Beth Sease; her brother Dick Eberly; her brother Vernon Dale Eberly; and her sister-in-law, Clarine Eberly.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service. Burial will be held at Arvilla Cemetery, Arvilla, ND.
