Kandis M. Julson, age 82, resident of Reynolds, passed away in the early morning on July 9, 2026, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
Kandis "Kandy" Marie Worsley was born June 12, 1944, in Long Lake, Minnesota. Living a life marked by love, grace, humor, kindness—that touched everyone who knew her.
Kandis’s journey began among the lakes and natural beauty of Long Lake, Minnesota, where she spent her formative years with her parents, Woodroe and Audrey (Dutilly) Worsley, and her brothers: Scott, Phil and Jim. From childhood, family formed the pillar of Kandy's life, providing the love and grounding that she passed so willingly to others throughout her years.
She met and married Curtis Julson, with whom she shared a devoted and enduring partnership; raising five children: Bill, Tammie, Troy, Jamie and Jennifer. Together, they built a home where warmth and laughter flourished. Kandi thrived on creating memories with her family, planning many trips involving: camping, fishing and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. The memories they created together remain a testament to their bond.
Throughout her lifetime, Kandis’s actions spoke louder than words—she touched lives not through grand gestures, but through quiet compassion, friendship, and unwavering support. Her presence was a source of comfort, and her legacy is carried forward in the hearts of her family, who shared life’s special moments by her side.
Kandy is survived by her children: Tammie Johnson of Max, ND, Troy Lambert of Grand Forks, ND, Jamie (Miranda) Kosmatka of Reynolds, ND, Jennifer (Leroy) Hutchings of Elk River, MN and Christine Jackson of Beaufort, South Carolina; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two siblings, Scott (Mary) Worsley and Phil (Kay) Worsley and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis; parents: Woodroe and Audrey Worsley; son, Bill Lambert and one brother, Jim.
A Funeral Service will be held at Amundson Funeral Home at 1:00PM on Friday, July 17, 2026. Visitation will take place hour hour prior to the service. A private family Committal Service will be held at a later date.
