Karen Rousseau

Karen Rousseau died on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 of heart failure.

She was born in La Porte Indiana, on August 25, 1943. Her parents were Leeland Marshall and Dorothy (Carpenter) Marshall.

She got married to Allen York and had 2 girls: Kim York and Krystal (Jeff Roth).  Karen was a CNA for many years and had various jobs throughout her life. She loved baking, bingo, and helping others. Her family meant everything to her.

Karen is survived by her children: Kim York, and Krystal (Jeff) Roth. Later she married Charles Rousseau and welcomed her 5 stepchildren: Roxanne (Travis) Lafferty, Neche, Charles (Laurie) Rousseau, Thompson, Vicki (Steven) Bennet, Walhalla, Michael (Kristie) Rousseau, Walhalla, Jon (Heather) Rousseau, of Peria, IL; Karen has 2 grandkids: Bret and Ashley Roth, both of Grand Forks; several step grandchildren and step great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Robert and Dennis Marshall, and husband Charles Rousseau.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Grand Forks.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
