Leona F. Sanders, 87, Grand Forks, ND, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024 at home.
Leona Frances Storbakken was born October 15, 1937 at Big Woods, MN, the daughter of William and Frances Storbakken. She was raised and educated at Big Woods.
Leona married Jack Sanders on November 19, 1971. They moved to Denver, CO where Leona worked in a print shop. They later moved to Grand Forks, ND. Leona first worked at the rehabilitation hospital before working for the food and nutrition department of Altru Hospital until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband, Jack.
Funeral services will be private.
