Linda A. Ricke

Linda A. Ricke, age 67, of Grand Forks, died Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Linda Ann Kasprzycki was born May 7, 1958, in Buffalo, New York, to Joseph and Irene (Galena) Kasprzycki. Following high school, Linda attended the State University of New York, where she earned her bachelor's degree. On June 12, 1993, Linda united in marriage to Dale Ricke at the City of Tonawanda Park Gazebo in Tonawanda, New York. The following day, Linda moved to Reynolds, North Dakota. After she settled in North Dakota, Linda’s professional career began with Ecolab in 1993, where she started as the payroll manager and eventually became the manager of financial analysis. In 2013, Ecolab closed its doors, and Linda finished her career working with Northwest Mental Health Center, which later became Alluma.

Linda found joy in simple moments with her husband; together, they would complete home improvement projects, which eventually led to them building their dream home. Linda loved her Buffalo Bills and dreamed of the ultimate Super Bowl playing against the Vikings. Linda loved supporting her family and made sure to make special meals and treats for when they would come to visit. She also enjoyed tending to her greenhouse and gardens, which she would begin in the winter to ensure they would be perfect for the upcoming seasons. Her nurturing spirit will be deeply missed.

Linda is survived by her husband of 32 years, Dale Ricke of Grand Forks, ND; children Kathy Thompson of Benton City, WA, Tim (significant other Shannon Carlson) Ricke of Bismarck, ND, Joey (Paula) Ricke of Reynolds, ND, and Adam Ricke of Reynolds, ND; granddaughter, Taylor Ricke; brothers, Joe Kasprzycki of Tonawanda and Michael Kasprzycki of Tonawanda sister, Mary Schuder of Buffalo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Irene; her sister, Diane Kasprzycki; her sister-in-law, Mary Ann; her sister-in-law, Kathleen; and her brother-in-law, James Schuder.
