Lloyd Raymond Edwards

Lloyd Edwards, 99, Grand Forks, N.D., died Friday, November 11, 2022 in Valley Senior Living on Columbia.

Lloyd was born in Clay County, Minnesota on May 27, 1923, the son of Ole & Ella (Swenson) Edwards.

He grew up and attended schools in the Wolverton, MN area.

He served in France in the US Army during WWII.

On December 22,1953 Lloyd married Leona (Lee) Haugaard. For many years Lloyd had ownership interest at Service Auto Supply in Grand Forks.

He enjoyed his automobiles, wintering in a warmer climate and spending time with family.

Lloyd is survived by sisters Agnes Cook, Clarice Hughes and Grace Ellis along with many nieces and nephews.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife Lee, sisters: Norma Janke, Marian Carlson, Ethel Weber, Harriet Ness, Leone Edwards and brothers Leroy Edwards, Orville Edwards, Teddy Edwards and Barney Edwards.

A private graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Forks, ND.
