Lolita Jewell Amick

September 7, 1976 — December 12, 2021

In Memory—Lolita Jewell Amick It is with heavy hearts and a great deal of sadness to announce the unexpected passing of Lolita Jewell Amick on Sunday, December 12, 2021 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Lolita Jewell Amick came bursting onto the scene early, born three months premature in Santa Cruz, California on September 7, 1976. Jewells or Jewelly, was full of energy and smiles and a corny sense of humor like the rest of the Schneider family. As a child, she loved to play and pretend and sing and be outdoors. Being 10 years younger than older brother Chris and sister Kristle, she immediately had two protective and loving siblings who loved to snuggle their sweet new sister. Though childhood was turbulent, she brought so much joy to her family! Jewells had an amazing gift with music: singing and playing musical instruments – much like her grandmother Lois and her aunt Pam (sadly, her siblings had no such talent). However, she passed on her musical talents her sons, Robbie & Henry. She loved living in Warm Springs, Washington, with her grandparents and spent much of her free time at the nearby Christian camp helping take care of the horses. Jewells became the mother of four children who she dearly loved: Robert, Henry, Cameron and Harlow. She had a tender heart and intense love for all her family and loved ones. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. Over the years she loved to talk about the deep things of life and God with different family members, especially grandma Lois, aunt Pam and older brother Chris. In this we take deep comfort in her love for Jesus: forgiveness and hope for eternal life in Him. Jewells is survived by her children, Robbie, Henry, Cameron and Harlow; her mother, Penny Knight; siblings, Chris Bruynzeel, Kristle Bruynzeel, Jacqie Dotson, Jeremiah Knight, Dani Knight; her Aunt Pam Sarabia and other uncles, and cousins. We love you, Jewells, and will miss you terribly. Rest in peace.
