Marilyn Caroline Lambert, 81, Grand Forks, died Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Altru Hospital.
Marilyn was born September 9, 1944, in Wadena, Minnesota, the daughter of Henry and Ruby (Reno) Lambert. She grew up in Bertha, Minnesota. She attended the Minnesota School for The Deaf in Faribault and graduated in 1964. In 1974, she moved to Grand Forks where she raised her 4 loving children and worked in a few restaurants.
Marilyn loved to watch movies and figure out puzzles. She also loved to go fishing and work on her needle point and ceramics. She had a sweet and funny soul, and her presence brightened the day of those who knew her.
Marilyn is survived by her children: Vicki (Ernest) Washington, Ruby (Mel) Hoverson, Donna (Matt) Mulock, Marlyn Hurley, grandchildren: Kevin, Naomi, Kirsten, Emily, Casey, Onyx, and Charlie; 6 great grandchildren; her sister Linda Lambert, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Virgina, Charles, David, Richard, Carol, Donna, Ethel, and granddaughter Veronica.
Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Amundson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
