Megan L. Gustafson

Megan Lea Gustafson, 28, Grand Forks, ND passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Grand Forks.

 Megan Lea was born September 2, 1993 in Grand Forks to Chad Gustafson and Michon Tronnes. She was raised in Grand Forks and attended Lewis and Clark Elementary, South Middle School and Central High School. Megan worked for McDonald’s, for several years and eventually worked her way up to manager. She later enjoyed her job at Canad Inn. Megan was a very hard worker and took pride in that.

 Growing up, Megan enjoyed spending time with her friends, time at the lake, driving the golf cart, listening to music and going for bike rides. Megan’s favorite moments were spent with her daughter, Olivia. Together, they enjoyed going to the park, playing games, reading, singing and dancing to music and even just cuddling while watching movies. Megan loved Olivia more than anything in the world! She always tried to make people feel better usually with her sense of humor and quick witted attitude. She was a kind and generous woman with a beautiful smile and infectious laugh she will be missed by so many who love her dearly.

 Survivors include her daughter, Olivia, Grand Forks; mother, Michon Tronnes, Grand Forks; father, Chad Gustafson, Grand Forks; brother, Chad Gustafson Jr, Grand Forks; grandparents, Jerry and Diane Gustafson, Grand Forks, Valerie Tronnes, Grand Forks, Randal Sturgeon (Leigh), Honolulu, HI; great-grandmother, Judith Ewing-Morlan, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; Aunts, Chanda Kelly (Brian), Grand Forks, Cariann Troftgruben (Rod), Grand Forks; Uncle, Brandon Gustafson, Grand Forks; Cousins, Mikaila, Darion, Brody and Connor.

 Megan was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Carl and Olga Gustafson, Grand Forks, and Vernon and Irene Tronnes, Shelly MN,

 Funeral services will be Monday, September 20, at 2:00 PM at Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery of Grand Forks.
