Michael Lee Andre

Michael Lee Andre was born on June 12, 1947, in Hudson, Michigan to parents, Bernice Spencer- Berryhill, and Javier R. Andrade. He attended school in Corpus Christi, Texas. He then moved to Florida and had four Daughter’s: Patsy, Bernice, Lori, and Maria. He was then drafted, served in Vietnam, in the United States Army and earned Five purple hearts. Later he moved to Alliance Nebraska, met, and married Barbara Heggen and had three Children, Michele, Nicole, and Michael Jr. Mike ran a Body shop, worked at Manvel Migrant School, and was owner-operator of ProTransport trucking in Grand Forks.

Mike loved to fish, travel, family, cook, and gardening.

Our Father passed away on July 7, 2021, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Larimore, ND with his children Michele, Nikki and JR, daughter-in-law Christy and two Grand Daughter's Lily and Sara by his side.

Survived by his Ex- Wife, Barbara Andre, daughters, Michele (Shilo) Lindemann and Nicole (Shawn Metzen) Andre and son JR (Christy) Andre, stepmother Filomena Andrade, his daughters from a previous marriage, Patsy, Bernice, Lori, Maria, as well as nine Grandchildren, and Four Great- Grandchildren,  brothers and sisters Harvey, Mary Lou, David, Alice, Kathy, Linda, and Jim.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Father, Mother, and his sisters Lety, Blanche, Roise.

Memorial service will be held July 12, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Manvel, ND. Visitation is at 10:00am Funeral 11:00am. Lunch will be served at Trinity after the service. Burial will follow in Stephen, MN.
