Ronald E. Skalicky, 93, Grand Forks, ND passed away Friday, November 29, 2024 at his daughter’s home in Papillion, NE.
Ronald Earl Skalicky was born January 15, 1931, in Brocket, ND, the son of Clarence and Ethel (Trenda) Skalicky. He was raised in the Lankin area and graduated from high school at Lankin, ND.
Ronald moved to Grand Forks where he owned and operated King Shoes on South Washington St. for many years until his retirement in 1995.
Ronald married Barbara Plutowski in 1969 in Grand Forks. They spent winters in Fort Meyers, FL and many happy summer weekends on Gull Lake near Bemidji, MN.
Ronald enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling, playing cards with friends, and dancing.
Survivors include: His children & grandchildren.
