Sandra “Sandee” Lynne Anderson, 83, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Valley Senior Living on 42nd in Grand Forks, ND.

Sandee was born January 24, 1943, in Grand Forks, ND, to Kenneth Jerome and Mildred Rose (Palmer) Bjelverud. Sandee was a lifelong resident of Grand Forks, graduating from Central High School in 1961. The following year, Sandee married the love of her life, Wayne Anderson, on February 24, 1962, and together as a couple, welcomed their daughter, Brooky.

Sandee worked as a lab tech at Northland Chemical from 1966 to 1970, later starting Karriers Inc. with her husband Wayne in 1981, where she worked for the first 5 years.

Sandee loved spending time with her family and traveling with them. She was a good baker, had a big smile for everyone, and when she kissed you goodbye, she left her mark on people (her blasé apricot lipstick). Sandee enjoyed meeting new people. She could talk to anyone and put them at ease, with her kind heart. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the races, especially watching the sprints.

She is survived by her daughter, Brooky; sister-in-law, June Seng, sister-in-law, Marilyn (Cliff) Coss, and several nieces and nephews.

Sandee is preceded in passing by her husband, Wayne; her parents, Kenneth and Milred Bjelverud; in-laws, Thelmer and Berget Anderson; sister, Mary Kay (Jerald) Elloitt; sister-in-law, Elain (Truman) Vigen and brother-in-law, Patrick Seng.

A service to remember and celebrate Sandee's life will be held Monday, August 24, 2026, at 2:00pm at Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks, ND. Visitation with the family will be held an hour prior to services with a lunch to follow. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery North in Grand Forks, ND following the lunch.
