Sandra “Sandy” L. Granger Sandra L. Granger, age 77, of Emerado, ND passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 8 at 11AM in the Amundson Funeral Chapel in Grand Forks, burial to follow at Memorial Park South Cemetery.   Due to COVID-19 Restrictions there will be a private family visitation 1 hour prior to her service.  

Sandy was born on August 13, 1943, in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Ronald and Betty (Amsler) Paupst. Sandy graduated from Larimore High School and married Leonard M. Rea (deceased) of Columbus Indiana on October 1st, 1961 in Grand Forks ND. 

After attending Aaker Business college Sandy worked in office management in Grand Forks at Lampert Building Center, A&L Siding, CL Linfoot and Steinke Electric.        

Sandy married Marvin Granger on January 31, 1987, in Grand Forks, ND.  They made their home at Sandy’s farmhouse in Emerado, ND. 

Union Lake Sarah Campground  was very special to Sandy for the past 30+ years and her family is so thankful for her community of friends.   She also enjoyed quilting, gardening, sewing and was active making hundreds of COVID-19 masks for many this past year.  She loved cooking traditional meals and hosting large family holiday gatherings. 

Sandy was a true “Country Girl”  and adored her family and friends with all of her heart.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Granger, Emerado, ND, their beloved dog, Charlie;  her son Rick (Dawnette) Rea and their children, Spencer Rea;  Sydney (Aaron) Johnson all of Fargo, ND;  her stepdaughter, Schawnn Decker, stepsons, Candonn (Cheryl) Granger, Curwynn (Dawn) Granger; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brothers Larry & (Jeanne) Paupst of Emerado, ND and Wayne Paupst of Grand Forks.
