Sharlaene L Fearing 90, of Grand Forks, ND passed away on November 27, 2021, at Valley Senior Living on Columbia with her family by her side.

Sharlaene Loretta Boushee was born on February 2, 1931, in East Grand Forks, MN to Jerome and Sophie Boushee and was raised on the farm in Oslo, MN.  She attended Aaker's Business College.

Shar married Loran D Fearing in 1949, the one and only love of her life. They were married for 45 years and blessed with 5 children before Loran’s death in January 1994. She was a loving, compassionate woman. Shar was blessed to be able to stay at home and raise all 5 children. Cass Lake, MN was their home away from home where the family made unforgettable memories.

After raising their children, Shar worked at Schroeder Middle School and Jandys clothing store in Grand Forks, ND before she retired.

Shar is survived by her children, Debbie Fearing (Ron Bushy), Sandy Brown, Loran (Deb) Fearing, Bill Fearing, and Mary (Dick) Davitt; sisters, Patricia (Morris) Kobetsky, Barbara (Harvey) Holter, Gayle (George) Holter, Donna (Phil) Tack, Vicky (Bob) Hero, and Michelle (Don) Dubuque. Shar is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.

Shar is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Loran; infant daughter, Loretta Marie; sister, Colleen (Barney) Lunak; brothers, Charles and Steve Boushee, and grandson, Scott Blackmun.

Special thank you to the staff at Valley Senior Living who provided such excellent and compassionate care. Shar considered them her extended family.

Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND, with visitation/family greeting from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Interment at Memorial Park North Cemetery in Grand Forks, ND.
