Shirli Ann Jacquemart was born July 5, 1964, in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to Grace Lenoir. She was raised in North Dakota by Ralph and Grace Morgan and attended school in Grand Forks. Shirli used her natural caregiving skills and culinary talents to dedicate many years working as a cook throughout the community. In 1988, in Grand Forks, Shirli met her best friend and love of her life, Kris “Roach” Schiavo, and together they were blessed with a daughter, Monica. Shirli raised her family in Grand Forks.

During her younger years, Shirli enjoyed dancing and listening to live bands’ music with her friends and playing Bingo. Shirli had a heart of gold and was a true matriarch who poured her whole heart and love into her family and friends, ensuring they always felt loved and supported. She cherished her role as a mother and grandmother and looked forward to family visits and outings, especially to Pizza Ranch, which became a special gathering place for her and her grandkids. Despite her health decline, she never lost her warm spirit and always kept smiling for her family even during her hardest days.

Shirli is survived by her daughter, Monica (fiancé Cordrick Minor) Jacquemart of Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren, Aneycia Harrison and Aceion Minor; mother, Grace Morgan of Grand Forks, ND; siblings, Robert (Lori) Jacquemart of Grand Forks, ND, Patrick Jacquemart of Fargo, ND, Lenore (Don) Silke of Honey Creek, IA, Shari Rebarchek of Grand Forks, ND, Linda (Jason) Morgan Svyston of Grand Forks, ND, and Carol (Butch) Gardner of Grand Forks, ND; 9 nieces and 7 nephews; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Kris “Roach” Schiavo; son, Ryan Mountain; father, Ralph Morgan; siblings, Monica Jacquemart Miller, Lanny Jacquemart, and Mark Jacquemart; and many other family members.

Special thanks to the Nurses and CNAs at Valley Senior Living.
