Steven D. Bell

Steven D. Bell, age 44, died Monday, April 14, 2025, as a result of a tragic car accident in Barnes County, North Dakota.

Steven David Bell was born January 2, 1981, in Fort Payne, Alabama to Pepper “Buzzy” Bell and Jean (Hardy) Flaig. In his early years, Steven attended school in Fyffe, Alabama before the family moved to Milbank, South Dakota in 1993. Steven was a very devoted scholar and active in wrestling, band, Taekwondo, and other extracurricular activities throughout his high school years. He continued his education at South Dakota State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business management. Throughout his working career, he worked as a manager at various locations across South Dakota and more recently in North Dakota. Steven’s charming and bright personality will be deeply missed.

Steven was survived by his mother, Jean Hardy Flaig, and stepfather, Kurt D. Flaig of South Dakota; sisters, Amanda Bell-Sen of North Carolina and Stephanie M. Mason of South Dakota. He is preceded in death by his father, Pepper “Buzzy” Bell.
