Stewart Allan Moore was born July 12, 1942, in Langdon, North Dakota to Stewart and Elin (Byron) Moore. Stew graduated from Mountain High School in 1961; following graduation, he drove semi-trucks and was a mechanic before he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Serving from 1962 - 1966. Stew enjoyed staying busy with work and completing various technical training programs for his career. On December 10, 1966, Stewart was united in marriage to Lois Austfjord in Mountain, North Dakota. The couple lived in Langdon before they moved to Grand Forks to raise their family.
Stewart cherished time fishing with his family on Lake of the Woods at the Cyrus Resort and traveling to Washington to visit his son and grandchildren. He instilled his kindness and manners in his family and had a love for helping others; whether it was fixing things or completing special projects, Stewart was always ready to share his generosity and support. His bright smile and laughs will be missed the most.
