Teresa Mae Petersen

Teresa M. Petersen, 66 of Park River, North Dakota died Friday, October 31, 2025, at Good Samaritan Society in Park River, North Dakota.

Teresa Mae Petersen was born on May 22, 1959, the daughter of James and Shelia (Wiltse) Petersen in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Grand Forks until moving to Mekinock, North Dakota in 1976, where she graduated from Midway High School.

Teresa cared for her parents in their later years and worked at Agvise Laboratories in Northwood, North Dakota. She enjoyed bingo and crocheting.

Teresa is survived by he brothers, James (Elmira) Petersen of Wentworth, SD and Darel Petersen of Fordville, ND; uncle, Roger (Betty) Petersen of WI; aunts, Eloyce (Emmett) Stastad of Mekinock, ND, Grace Priewe of Wyndmere, ND and Anna Marie Homola of Belle Fourche, SD; nephew, Allen Petersen; numerous cousins.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents.

A family directed service will be held at a later date.
