William "Bill" J. Raymond

William "Bill" James Raymond went to his heavenly home on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Bill was born on November 4, 1947, to Charles Earle Raymond and Ruth Marjorie (Partlow) Raymond, who preceded him in death. After graduating from high school in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, Bill enlisted in the Navy on November 21, 1966, and was honorably discharged on November 8, 1968. He returned to Grand Forks, where he resided until his death. Bill was a lifelong member of Mendenhall Presbyterian Church. He loved the outdoors and caring about his sisters.

Bill is survived by sisters, Rita Gardner of IA, Nancy Carter of AZ, Myra Hartwig of MN, Ruth Bruner (Steve Puente) of TX, and Lois Kruse of TX; and many nieces and nephews.

A private ceremony will be held by Bill's family in the spring of 2026.
