Mary Beth (Olmstead) Aubuchon, passed away on October 24, 2018, at her home in Manvel, ND.

Mary Beth Olmstead Aubuchon was born December 12, 1951, the daughter of Walter & Bette (Nagle) Olmstead in Grafton, ND. She grew up in Manvel and graduated from Oslo High School in 1969. She received her BA Degree and Elementary Education Teacher Certification in California. Mary Beth taught in both Crescent City, CA and Valdez, AK.

In August, 1993, Mary Beth returned to live in her home town of Manvel, ND. She worked for three years as a recorder of books on tape for disability support services at UND. She was an avid reader and a frequent patron of the Grand Forks Public Library.

Mary Beth enjoyed spending time with her best friend, Rita Devine. She was truly grateful for the love and kindness of her family, friends, and complete strangers. Bonnie Ferry, who was there with her from start to finish deserves three halos in heaven. GO SUBARU!

Mary Beth is survived by her mother, Bette Stout; brother, Kelly Olmstead; daughter, Jody Aubuchon and granddaughter, Karma Hughes.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Olmstead; brother, David Olmstead and stepfather, Clifford Stout.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Altru Hospice.

Graveside Service: 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at St. Timothy’s Catholic Cemetery in Manvel, ND.
